Song of the Siren is tempting you like the famed mermaids of ancient lore. Already garnering attention in 2009 with their dynamic, high-energy show, they take you on a captivating journey

through several genres including hard rock, pop and alternative.



Frontwoman Isul Kim (guitar/vox) in close partnership with Garry Ventura (drums), takes

immediate command of the audience's attention with her striking looks

and powerful voice. Together, Isul and Ventura approach the songs with finesse and agility, amazing you with a poetic power and an underlying sense of urgency and prowess.



Coming off their debut album, City Lights Are Blinding you (released

June 2008), recorded by Justin Phelps at Tiny Telephone and Hyde

Street Studios and produced by drummer Garry Ventura, the new songs in

2009 promise more, by way of genre shifting elements and clever

lyrics. Isul's songs tell a complete story based on her own true life experiences over the last year of shows, touring, personal struggles and

her eventual triumphs. "Make Me Scream", the upcoming EP, is expected

to be released in fall 2009, with online previews staring in August.
