SIC. SIC WORLD. Something In Construction is a record label. We are looking for new cool-ass, talented and ambitious bands. WITH TUNES.

Right now, we want something kinda dirty that rocks hard like NO AGE or BLACK MOUNTAIN. Or even Baroness. They are good. WITH TUNES, mind.

Or mebbe something as beautiful and strange as Talk Talk or Of Montreal.

We like to dance too. Not often, mind. But we are partial to disc. Have you got a little disco in you?

Or someone with SONGS like the Shins. Or The Cribs.

Or some pop music.

It all comes back to pop music for us.

Something that lifts the soul, makes your foot tap, your head nod abd your heart swell/



Just something excellent really. So yeah, send us yr tunes/links but first make sure you are not crap. You'd think this was obvious really but you'd be surprised. If your list of influences contain the words Chili Peppers, Kasabian or Libertines, then you are barking up the wrong tree.

If Radiohead, Giorgio Moroder, David Bowie, Kraftwerk, Kate Bush, Arcade Fire, Low, Mos Def or My Bloody Valentine are your totems, then why didnt you say so. Don't leave a myspace message. Hit us up here david@somethinginconstruction.com
