Somebodys Darling

Hailing from Dallas, TX, the four piece country-rock outfit Somebody's Darling came up in a part of the nation where southern meets western and urban meets rural, so it's no surprise how effortlessly this group of twenty-somethings blends rock energy with country sensibilities. Their tunes sound just as good alongside Ryan Adams and The Band as they do Cross Canadian Ragweed and Chris Knight. Since the formation of the band in August '07, Amber Farris's vocals and songwriting chops have shown themselves to be especially outstanding. Backed by a solid band including David Ponder on lead guitar, Nate Wedan on drums, and Michael Talley on the bass, the group has been garnering the attention of fans, venues, and press alike.
