ENGLISH BIOGRAPHY



The Smashhead comes foundsin Sassari (Sardinia-Italy),

from Franco Fois (guitar) and Luigi Cara(growl-scream -& bass) during the summer of 2004,

with the attempt to propose a brutal DeathMetal and without compromises characterized from the sound violent and aggressive.

Little months after it enters to make part of band the drummer Edoardo Quilichini who completes thus linens up. At the April 2005,

after the our first relase:a promo-single "before Flash the Holocaust" it begins also the live activity of band

and the job of agreement of a first E.P."Bloodshed and Killing until extinction" that it comes published in successive september 2005.

Without some interruption, the Smashhead continues their live activity that, between the end of the 2005 and summer of 2006,

sees protagonists to them of most numerous live events between which of meaningful importance it is the festival "to Day in The Hell"

(5-7-2006-PortoTorres(Sassari),that it sees protagonists to them like only Sardinian band to open the concert of FIRE TRAILS and leggendari NAPALMS DEATH.

Strong of the numerous consents it finds to you in October 2006 the band begins

the recordings of the first Album "Rotten Corpse Lacerated" but during this same period Edoardo Quilichini it leaves the band after to have however recorded the drums parts.

Little weeks after the Smashhead find a new drummer, Gabriel Tanda with which they continue without pauses with numerous live exhibitions.

To February 2007 the band the mixaggio of the album "Rotten Corpse Lacerated"finishes that contains 9 traces of insane and violent burtal death metal in Smashhead style.

Gli Smashhead vengono fondati a Sassari (Sardegna-Italia), da Franco Fois (chitarra) e Luigi Cara (growl-scream -basso)

durante l'estate del 2004,

con l'intento di proporre un DeathMetal brutale e senza compromessi caratterizzato dal sound violento ed aggressivo.

Pochi mesi dopo entra a far parte della band il batterista Edoardo Quilichini che completa cosi' la line up.

Nel Aprile 2005,dopo l'uscita del primo promo-singolo “Flash before the Holocaust” inizia anche l'attività live della band

e il lavoro di arrangiamento di un primo E.P."Bloodshed and Killing until extinction" che viene pubblicato nel settembre successivo 2005.

Senza alcuna interruzione , gli Smashhead continuano la loro attività live che tra la fine del 2005 e l'estate del 2006

li vede protagonisti di numerosissimi eventi live fra i quali di significativa importanza è il festival

"a Day in The Hell " (5-7-2006-PortoTorres(Sassari) che li vede protagonisti

come unico gruppo sardo ad aprire il concerto dei FIRE TRAILS e dei leggendari NAPALM DEATH.

orti dei numerosi consensi riscontrati nel Ottobre 2006 la band inizia le registrazioni del primo Album “Rotten Corpse Lacerated”

ma durante questo stesso periodo Edoardo Quilichini lascia la band dopo aver comunque registrato le parti di batteria.

Poche settimane dopo gli Smashhead trovano un nuovo batterista

,Gabriele Tanda con il quale proseguono senza soste con numerose esibizioni live.

A febbraio 2007 la band termina il mixaggio del album “Rotten Corpse Lacerated” che contiene 9 tracce di insano e violento burtal death metal in stile Smashhead,prodotto e distribuito dalla DEAD BANG RECORDS.
