Howdy. If youre here than youve most likely already been privy to the sweet sounds of Slobberbone. If not, welcome friend; sit back with an alcoholic beverage of your choice, and prepare your eardrums for a fat slice of sonic apple pie.

In early 1992, Denton, Texas gave birth to the band Slobberbone.

Baring a name that referenced a dogs chew toy they sought to quell a thirst for beer, and did so by playing gigs for that and little else. Luckily for us the bi-product was some damn good rock music; much of which was eventually immortalized on albums now available to you and I.

The first album was Crow Pot Pie. First released independently in 1994 and then again on Doolittle Records in 1996 with 4 new songs. The Second was Barrel Chested, released in 1997 (then later re-released by New West Records). These were followed by Everything You Thought Was Right Was Wrong Today in 2000, and Slippage in 2002 (both also on New West Records).

Slobberbone toured like crazy for 10+ years in support of 4 more than solid albums, (they also drank a whole lot) and came back to Denton for their final shows on March 12 & 13 2005: to end it where it all had began so long ago Thank for everything guys. Rest In Peace Slobberbone, Gimme Back My Dog!
