This style was cultivated by his experiences while living in Philadelphia, Delaware and Miami Florida.
With 20+ years of Engineering experience, he is well versed in the latest recording hardware/software having worked the boards for such luminaries as Phyllis Hyman, R Kelly, Nick Martinelli, H-Town, Toni Blackman, Luke & the 2 Live Crew, Bunny from LTrimm & NYOil just to name a few.
Beginning his venture in the world of hip hop at the age of 10 as a breakdancer with a crew known as The Delaware Breakers, his love for hip hop escalated when in 1979 while performing/battling @ The Fever nightclub in NYC, there was Grandmaster Flash on the turntables wowing the crowd with turntable trickery. It was then that Slice "Kid Fresh @ the time" discovered a new love within the culture with was scratching. By 1985/6 Slice started to make a name for himself locally battling other dj's and wowing crowds at parties with his scratching and trick abilities on the turntables joining forces with a local group the Killer Boys which spanned off into several different groups including The Hip Hop Connection which featured Slice on the turntables and his beginnings as a producer.
As he started winning battles in Philadelphia, Jersey & Delaware, the longing for growth was paramount which led Slice to leave for Miami in 1990 to attend college for Audio engineering & create a name for himself in the southeast region of the U.S.
After graduating with a degree from University of Miami in Audio Engineering, he made his name in the music industry, aligning himself to Michael Sterling, Sonny Campbell of Stomp & Grind Records & eventually, Luther Campbell. Through the decade of the 1990's & after setting up Static In The Attic Productions and Static In Da Music Publishing in 1992 he had a tremendous impact on the hip hop community there being the beatsmith behind such classics as Yes N Deed by Society which is on of Miami's theme's for hip hop to this day to You Go Girl by the 2 Live Crew. He also has worked with & or produced Cool & Dre, Poison Clan, Mother Superia & DJ Craze just to name a few. He relocated back to Delaware in late 2000 to fully set up his studio and business ventures.
He currently is a member of Philadelphia based hip hop group "The SoundBwoi Killaz" which has 2 albums (Out with the Bad, In with the Great & A Little Wiser) on the market & Philly based Turntable crew "The Cr8Kickers' & owns a digital/analog recording studio in the suburbs of Newark Delaware.
