"L.A. popgazers Sky Parade have found psych-rock’s sweet spot on their new single, “I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down),” a three-minute fantasy-vs.-reality lament that pits an urgent rhythmic churn against giddy washes of synths. The song, produced by Courtney Taylor-Taylor of the Dandy Warhols and featuring the Dandys’ Zia McCabe on keyboards, is the first off Sky Parade’s forthcoming third full-length, “Intoxicated.” The album features appearances by McCabe, Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses) and Jeff Schroeder (Smashing Pumpkins, the Lassie Foundation)".

“I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down)” is not only radio-ready – it’s a nugget of well-produced psycho-pop-hook-laden-genious, you can dance to. But don’t tell the band that, I don’t want it to go to their heads!”
