Skilla B

SKILLA B is a young artist hailing from the North of London. SKILLA B has been in the music game for 3-4 years now, being part of 8 G.U.E.S.S before joining HIGHLY RATED. and has recently become a solo artist. The young North Londoner has recieved airplay on many different mainstream radio stations such as BBC 1xtra, BBC Radio 1 and Kiss Fm, appearing on DJ Cameo and DJ Logan’s shows. SKILLA B has also feautred on mixtapes from most of the biggest artist from the North London area. SKILLA B made his name from appearing on underground radio stations such as Heat fm, Mystic fm, as well as Axe fm, Manic fm and many other internet radio stations and is considered by many to be one of the most talented artists in North London. SKILLA B is often recognised for his distinctive flow and wordplay as well as his well thought out punchlines and powerful hooks but is yet to realise his potential and gain the recognition he deserves. SKILLA B has quite an impressive portfolio, performing at the B.A.R.S. 3 launch party, as well as performing at talent showcases and raves nationwide, he has also featured in the underground smash video entitled ’Union Jack’ In 2006, SKILLA B released a free promotional CD entitled ’HOW I FEEL’ which featured a lot of other well respected artists from the grime and hip-hop scene, and has got a decent response so far and he will hope to be heard and recognised by the rest of Europe after the release of his mixtape which is due for released this year, and is yet to be named.
