REVIEW ON FFRUK:(www.ffruk.com)

Ska War - Stomping On The Moon Ska War - Stomping On The Moon:

This album is around six years old but still worth picking up. This is as bouncy as their 2003 promo and on listening to this I have to say its really enjoyable. Its always good to hear of another Ska band that arent predictable and can hold their own. Theres eleven tracks on this fine album and not one filler. Tracks such as Case, Stomping On The Moon, Mouth And Trousers and Bring Me A Baby are by far the better numbers on here. Having said that I also like the closing track Dub War simply because of the vibe coming from it. Skawar have a good Ska sound and on the basis of this album Im surprised they havent been picked up by a bigger label. They are well worth a listen and are sure to brighten up your day. (TRIB) 8/10

SKAWAR - Promo:

"Id never heard this French Ska band before and the music they serve up is a right treat. They take their sound from the 2 Tone era and that of what is considered the Third Wave. This CD kicks off with Listen To The Bird which is the best number on here. Mystic Addition, Ghost and M Der Murder are not too far behind in quality and make up the rest of the tracks on this promo. Yeah go on give these a listen if bouncy Ska numbers are your thing. (Rude Boy) 8/10"

REVIEW ON SKRUTT:(www.surf.to/skrutt)

SKA WAR-STOMPING ON THE MOON(CD-TRIB RECORDS BULLET 001) "Frenchmen and skamusic….how would this go? I must say that this goes along really well. Much horns but anyway some really speed many times and they absolutely not forget the punkmusic in the background as many other skabands do. Sure theyre mostly ska and they have surely listened a lot to early Madness, bad Manners and those bands but I think that some punkrecord must have gone down in their throats. It's fun that they mix between English and French in their lyrics. Check out their tough playing in Best of the 80s and you can understand really fast that they have an own style."

REVIEW ON ROCK AND FOLK:

REVIEW ON ROCK SOUND:

REVIEW ON RAGGA:
