BIOGRAFIA
1982 Il gruppo di giovanissimi bolzanini si forma e dopo un breve periodo registra il primo DEMOTAPE -
1986esordisce ufficialmente con il primo LP dal titolo „DIRTY ARMADA", distribuito dalla CGD m.m. di Milano. Numerosi i concerti in Italia ed in Austria dove gli SKANNERS raccolgono consensi da parte del pubblico e della critica specializzata.
1988 con il secondo LP „PICTURES OF WAR", gli SKANNERS raggiungono l'apice della popolarita, suonando come gruppo di supporto a nomi quali: GIRLSCHOOL, MOTORHEAD,HALLOWEEN,SAXON, MANOWAR, DIO,TWISTED SISTER ed altri ancora.
1995 gli SKANNERS realizzano il loro terzo lavoro discografico „THE MAGIC SQUARE" , grazie al quale riescono a guadagnarsi il titolo di Special Guest nella Tournee italiana 1996 dei mitici DEEP PURPLE e dove la Band ha occasione di dimostrare tatta la potenza e la professionalita .
1997 Per coronare l'eccezionale evento ed a grande richiesta dei fans, gli SKANNERS decidono di festeggiare il loro quindicesimo anniversario registrando un paio di concerti a Bolzano nellottobre dello stesso anno e pubblicando successivamente il loro primo Album dal vivo "SKANNERS LIVE " in edizione limitata.
2002 realizzano il loro quarto lavoro discografico dal titolo FLAGELLUM DEI, prodotto e distribuito dall'etichetta UNDERGROUND SYMPHONY in tutta EUROPA.
2005 è l'anno del ritorno ai mitici anni 80…. La nuova etichetta discografica degli SKANNERS, la MYGRAVEYARDPRODUCTIONS si occupa delle ristampe dei loro 2 storici albums d'esordio DIRTY ARMADA e PICTURES OF WAR !!
2008 quinto Album dal titolo THE SERIAL HEALER sempre prodotto dalla MYGRAVEYARDPRODUCTIONS e distribuito in tutta Europa !!
2010 Gli Skanners sono nel loro Bunker di Bolzano, per la stesura di nuove song per il prossimo full-legt dal titolo FACTORY OF STEEL in uscita prevista per gennaio 2011

BIOGRAPHY
1982 this very young Band from Bolzano (Italy) was formed .
1984 The Band sign a deal with the major Label CGD M.M.Milano.
1986 the first album DIRTY ARMADA . Their concerts in Italy and Austria have received numerous positive reactions from audience and critics.
1988 with their second album "PICTURES OF WAR" the Skanners reach out the peak of popularity. by playng as Special Guest for Motörhead - Twisted Sister- R.J. Dio Helloween - Saxon- Girlschool and many others. The Band have proved theyr talent and willingness to emerge.
1995 new deal with the Label Liederszene Southtyrol that has produced their third album "THE MAGIC SQUARE" distribuited by the Self Records. The Band gave a series of spectacular concerts as special Guest for Deep Purple around Italy, where the audience heard and admired the Band's Magic Show !!!
1997 was the year of the 15° Anniversary of the Band, so they decided to give the fans a Live album "SKANNERS LIVE" with songs of each of their three albums - including two no-edit songs always produced by Liederszene Southtyrol and distribuited by White & Black Italy.
2001 The band has signed a new deal for two realeses with the Italian Label UNDERGROUND SYMPHONY.
2002 The new Album FLAGELLUM DEI " is out in Europe and the Band play it all around the World !
2006 is the year of the come back to the fabulouses 80'tees… and the new SKANNERS's new label the MYGRAVEYARDPRODUCTIONS has produced the reissue of the 2 hystorical albums DIRTY ARMADA and PICTURES OF WAR !!!
2008 the new Album titled " THE SERIAL HEALER" always produced by the MYGRAVEYARDPRODUCTIONS is out in Europe !
2010 Skanners are in their bunker in Bolzano, at work to writing new Tunes for the next full-lengt - out scheduled for JJener 2011 Tjtled FACTORY OF STEEL !!!
