A British Rock band who's music encompasses traditional, classic andprogressive rock, SjW formed in 2005.

SjW's sound is deeply entwined with the past, being influenced but stadiumrock acts and super groups such as Led Zeppelin, The Police and Rush.Cream, Kings X and Hendrix have without a doubt had an impact on SjW'sunique style too.

Simon White released his debut album 'Talk On Corners' in 2006, afterreturning from a year and half touring the Middle East as a bass player &vocalist. 'Talk On Corners' was recorded at No Machine Studio's in Wokingham, (Berkshire) with musicians Ben Mathews of Two Spot Gobi on Drums and Jamie Hunt (ex Biomechanical) on Guitar. Both Ben and Jamie moved onto continue hectic touring and recording schedules with their respective bands. SjW gigged constantly as a four piece band throughout 2006/07 with Tom Vincent,(Drums), Mitch Gasser, (Guitar) and WinstonEade,(Keyboards), with Jamie Hunt augmenting the line up, when available. In late 2007 SjW stripped down to a 3 piece, with Mitch Gasser ever present on Guitar and a number of session drummers picking up sticks live.Simon White continued writing material in preparation for the bands next album release.

The Summer of 2008 saw Mitch Gasser and Simon White in Bank Cottage Studios,(Cotswolds), working with top producer George Shilling resulting in 10 varied, fresh and new tracks and a new album " A State of Delirium".Whilst still heavily influenced by the traditions of classic rock with big guitars and catchy riffs the order of the day, 'A State of Delirium' offers many elements, including complex arrangements, intricate melodies combined with more then a healthy dose of punk attitude.

SjW's debut album 'Talk on Corners' showed more then a glimpse of greatness. "Razor-edged cut 'Sailing On' has all the trademarks demanded by the modern rock fan, and given sufficient airplay would prove a hit with the cognoscenti. Promising." Keith Ames, Editor - Musician Magazine(Jun 13, 2008). Now SjW have kicked the door wide open with the album 'State of Delirium'. This new album takes the listener for a ride through a varied, colourful and ever changing landscape.

Never one to rest on his song writing laurels, Simon White has produced anew album containing a vast array of musical idea's and lyrics on a new level. Just when you think you've got it's measure 'A State of Delerium' asks you yet another question.!

With Simon White's unique vocals, clever and challenging lyrics and phenomenal Bass work, coupled with Mitch Gasser's soulful and flawless Guitar, only one question remains after "Are you ready for 'A State of Delirium'". Where can i buy a copy of this great new album from SjW?
