I dig music and musicians in general. The tracks I've posted are all from bands and projects I've been a part of in the past. I co-wrote these songs and performed all the vocals.
The oldest stuff is from a collaboration I worked on with a fantastic guitar player from Seattle (my hometown) named Tim Smith. We dubbed ourselves Smith & Sixkiller. We wrote and recorded almost a full length album's worth of music. It was of humble production quality, but full of heart. I've posted only a couple of tracks.
In 2005 I moved to Los Angeles and shortly thereafter joined three other musicians in a band we named Siris. We recorded a three song EP mixed by Fed Archambault who has mixed Deftones, Avenged Sevenfold, Alice Cooper and Valiant Thorr among others. We played out for about a year mostly around Hollywood and a few shows in Long Beach and the South Bay before we went separate ways. Siris is currently writing music and should be performing again very soon.
In February of 2007 I co-founded a project called A Fifth of Reason as the lead vocalist. The band decided to produce a 10 song album which we dubbed 'Lux Prima'. We established an outstanding working relationship with mix master Steve Hardy who has worked with artists such as Prince, Jay-Z, Aretha Franklin, Goo Goo Dolls and Carlos Santana. The album won 4th place in the 2008 JPF Music Awards in the Hard Rock genre. The track "Castle In The Air" placed 4th for Best Song in the same genre. In addition, the band was a Semi-Finalist in the IMWS Music Awards. With the album completed, we began touring around Southern California including but not limited to venues in Venice, Bakersfield, Newhall, and the Pangea Music Festival in Long Beach headlined by Alien Ant Farm.
Presently I am looking forward to new projects.
