SiSTiNE

OK, so I'd like to start with wow, the pen made it out of the drawer. SISTINE to these four defines artistic attitude. That combined with musical connection created a – artistically - smooth banging sound varying style of Funk Rock, POP, and SOUL. Having listened to only themselves has proved rewarding as it continues to deliver there happiness.
Charlie Barceló holds the sticks and skins. Joe Palma has Lead on vocals. Mike Palma holds the guitar and balances lead and rhythm. Steve Barceló has a rare connection with a bass he named pinky. Charlie and Steve pride themselves in being cousins as Joe and Mike do being brothers. Combine a bit of old with some new, a dash of gold on a plate shaped diamond and you have what these four eat regularly.
This being Charlie's first band, Joe & Mike's 3rd, as Steve started SISTINE in high school with former members. Steve's first attempt on SISTINE in 1999 failed when x drummer joined the air force and guitarist left the band and formed a family. Steve began to record alone at Crafted Studios in Monrovia. Joe mike and Steve attended school together and Joe and Steve were marching band mates with Steve on tuba and Joe on Drums. A few years after High School Steve contacted Joe and began to collaborate and almost immediately formed the new hybrid SISTINE.
Four years in the making and increasingly picking up momentum financing there first formal EP Beyond the Threshold. In four years, SISTINE has become a kick ass band that holds what it takes to stay in the business. Drive. Sistine is currently moving forward placing songs on outlets such as, i Tunes & Amazon.com. As the hunt for a record deal proceeds, SISTINE continues to deliver their neck grabbing sound. This ensemble works hard and plays hard, anywhere from local coffee gigs to The House of Blues.
