Sirens

Newcastle-based Sirens first hit the scene in 2003 after signing with legendary indie label Kitchenware Records and have set the scene on fire since with hits such as 'Club La La', 'Baby (Off The Wall)' and 'Dreams'. Band members Karina, Katherine and Lea ooze urban, street cool and rip up the rule book that most girl bands follow. You wouldn't see many other groups selling their cars to afford studio time to record their first demos, but that's just one sign of Sirens' determination. Those demos led them to catch the attention of Kitchenware Records founder Keith Armstrong – and there's been no stopping them since. Following on from their previous acclaimed albums 2004's Control Freaks' and 2008's 'Say Goodbye To La La Land', the girls began working on another album, travelling around the world to write with producers such as DeeKay , Eric Sanicola and long-time collaborators DC Joseph.

Determination has brought them far. As well as success around Europe and Japan, 2008's hit 'Club La La' has appeared on dance charts worldwide, including the prestigious Billboard dance chart in the U.S., and they look set to repeat it with 'Stilettos', their fiery, synth-charged new single.

'Stilettos', the lead single from their third studio album '3' sees the girls as confident and sexy as ever, as they breathe new life into the current dance scene. The hook-laden track boasts many moments that will be imprinted in your brain beyond the fist-pumping chorus. 'You got a six-inch heel? Girl stand up!' - and you will, regardless if you have any on or not! Produced by DeeKay (who have previously worked with Sirens as well as lil Wayne, Didfy, JLS and The Sugababes to name a few) the single also features a fierce new music video, directed by RAGE, famous for his previous work with Diddy and N-Dubz. With remixes from dance stalwarts such as Almighty and Jerome Isma-Ae, you can expect to hear this burning up dancefloors the world over – pretty damn good when you consider the humble beginnings of the band.

'Stilettos' is released October 4th on Kitchenware Records. The new album '3' is coming soon.
