Sion Orgon

Sion Orgon a long time collaborator of Thighpaulsandra (Spiritualized, Coil and Julian Cope).

His work includes membership of AltRock band Rocketgoldstar and work with Coil, Jesus Jones, Stylus.



Sion's debut album "Orgonised Chaos" was released in May 2004 by Experimental Seafood Records. cat no. Exp05CD.



A new album "the Zsigmondy Experience" is now out on Lumberton Trading Records.

Sion Orgon's almost nostalgic approach to electronic composition instantly reminds me of Stockhausen and early Komische music as it begins to rev up, but when the bronze percussion kicks in, these immediate observations are soon put to flight, and the music becomes more complex and involving.

Helped along by a host of fellow musicians including Thighpaulsandra (Coil) on the almost Gavin Bryers sounding (Zena Gets the Vibration) Orgons use of orthodox instrumentation and atmospheric embellishments among the towering spires of swirling synths allows a more human aspect to unexpectedly reveal itself.
