In the fall of 2004, Glass Arson started with its first experiment in the Post Hardcore genre with Evans, J Colleps, Pike, and C Colleps taking control of the project. Soon recruiting Lopez and Allen (former members of Thysia), the band had its complete line-up. After several months of jamming and developing ideas, the project burned down and Derwood Brown rose out of the ashes experimenting in the Metalcore genre with Pike on drums, J Colleps on vocals, C Colleps and Evans on the git-fiddle while Burnham hacked on bass. Derwood established a decent name for themselves playing several shows but once again faced the slow degrade to failure.

After a small time lapse of nonmusical projection, Lopez decided it was time to fill the musical void and initiated the start of a completely revolutionary style in the hardcore genre. Bringing back particular members of Glass Arson, Lopez began his creation. Soon following, the potential line-up would begin a long process of searching for the right voice to front this project. After months and months of failed attempts and auditions, the search was finally over enter Michael Ownby. Lopez and C Colleps add flair to the style with moving melodic guitar riffs and brief disturbances of hardcore breakdowns, while Bellefontaine conquers the guitars with rapid, continuous bass flow that keeps in sync with J Colleps’ concrete set skills. The design is accompanied by a touch of piano and strings from Pike’s keys. With the lineup complete, this new synergy of musicianship brings a unique and epic dream to life—Sinclaire.

Sinclaire hopes to appeal to the more emotional aspects of hardcore music, adopting a more lucrative and unique style of sound - breaking away from most modern hardcore bands these days - yet at the same time keeping that aggressiveness in the music.
