Sinate

SINATE formed in June 2005, by September that same year they had recorded and released their debut album 'Beyond Human'. Followed up by two New Zealand tours and a tour in Australia.
Then it was off to Sweden to record their 2nd album, 'Violent Ambitions', with World renowned producer 'PELLE SAETHER' in STUDIO UNDERGROUND. Upon their return SINATE kept playing shows throughout the country including the 'METAL DAY OUT' which hosted 18 bands, both International and Local. Then SINATE returned to Australia, playing at Brisbane's popular 'Hellfest'. Yet another tour of New Zealand followed, this time with Brisbane based band STATE OF INTEGRITY.
Along came 2007 and the MAIN STAGE at the BIG DAY OUT. A 23 date tour of New Zealand in support of 'Violent Ambitions' was next for SINATE, this tour included playing with four International giants, 'SUFFOCATION', 'GOD FORBID','MASTADON', and the almighty 'SLAYER'. Then SINATE headed off on their "Attacked From Within' Tour" which was kicked off opening up for 'MOTORHEAD' and finished by opening for Polish legends BEHEMOTH. 2008 saw SINATE playing at the MAMMOTH METAL FEST, the renowned AUDIENCE WITH THE DEVIL, for the fourth time, the V8 SuperGig in Hamilton and the BRUTALFEST in Brisbane, Australia.



2008 also saw Drummer Sam Sheppard get full endorsement from Paiste Cymbals. He became only the third person in New Zealand to receive this honour.



In early 2009 Sinate recruited Matt Fawcett from Dammed Age on lead guitar. Sam Sheppard also recieved sponsorship from Tama NZ and signature sticks from Promark.



Mid 2009 saw SINATE headlining the HMHR Fest. Then in July SINATE relocated to Europe to drink cheaper beer, and expose themselvesto the world's largest metal market. They played shows throughout Germany before securing a spot on the FUNERAL NATION tour with MARDUK, VADER, MASTIC SCUM, and EDGE OF SERENITY. The tour consisted of 19 shows in 13 countries around Europe and was well received by fans everywhere.



Rasant Records in Germany, is releasing SINATE'S first two albums, BEYOND HUMAN, & VIOLENT AMBITIONS, in Europe with plans to extend the distribution throughout the world. Special edition CD'S and also VINYL will be available in September 2010. Watch this space!



After a few more shows in Germany and Sweden, the band then went back to STUDIO UNDERGROUND to record their third album, again with PELLE SAETHER.
The album shows a new maturity in songwriting yet staying true to their aggresive style. The album is currenty being mixed and the band is in deliberations with record companies for worldwide release.
