SINAMORE's "A New Day" hit the streets through the label Napalm Records in January 2006. Described as sad, bittersweet, biting, dark, and melancholic—perhaps drawing its influences from the sombre yet hopeful Finnish persona—the debut received excellent reviews from the international press, including titles such as "Newcomer of the Month" in Germany’s Orkus magazine. Shortly following its release, SINAMORE embarked on an extensive European tour with with To/Die/For (FIN), Das Scheit (GER) and Indigo Child (SLO).
With their second album "Seven Sins a Second", which was recorded and mixed at Villvox Studio by Aleksanteri Kuosa (Before the Dawn, Dawn of Solace, Profane Omen, etc.) and mastered at the legendary Finnvox Studios by Minerva Pappi, SINAMORE continues their musical journey, setting a darker and more intense tone complete with sorrowful melodies, melancholic lyrics, and a somber atmosphere typical of Finnish bands. Yet for all the world weariness imparted in their music, SINAMORE never forgets their rock-n-roll roots. Thus, the four Finns let it all hang out, combining pleasing melancholy and soft sounds with solid drumming, great hooklines, catchy choruses, and heavy guitars.
In the end period of year 2008 SINAMORE parted ways with their second guitarist, Tommi Muhli. Everything was done in a friedly way, but it was the decision that had to be made cause their own given reasons. SINAMORE still continues their way to the brighest highlights throught the melancholy.
