8 ans déjà. Une audition guitare-voix, un premier single "Le grand pardon", un succès au-delà des espérances. Ensuite des rencontres, de l'écriture, des concerts, du travail. Une étape nécessaire pour un retour à l'essentiel : la simplicité. J'ai voulu mon nouveau projet dépouillé d'artifice, vrai, essentiel. J'ai voulu coller au plus près de l'écriture et de l'intimité d'un guitare-voix. Exigences : peu d'intermédiaires mais les bons (musiciens, micros, guitares, amplis), un maximum de premières prises pour une chaleur humaine transpirant de la bande.

Simplicity. This is what music should be about. This is what I wanted my new project to sound like. So I tried to stick as much as I could to the writing and the guitar playing. Demanding job: you need to use only a few tools - the good ones . First takes is what it took to make this record sound real.
