Silhouettes

Silhouettes began as a thought of fusing different musical stylings and tastes into one sound. a sound that sounded. like a smell that smells. only without the smell. brought out with soul and burning desire, the goodwill of inner-child and maturity, and the sense of knowing that what you're doing is so rock'n'roll you can't be touched. or something like that.

At first there was only And I Admit, a solo act of Alex's which needed some spice. In that he met Franky who offered to play drums and get a full band started. This was in February of 2005.
In March, Bobby was added to the lineup to round out the guitar sounds. Alex and Bob had been aware of each other for at least a year or two and had played together before but now for the first time writing together.
In the beginning Silhouettes there was Baylen Forcier on bass. He was very enthusiastic on playing for the band and stuck around for the first run of shows and the only demo to be released by the group. In September he left the band to pursue an education at VCU. We still hope he's cool.
That same month Ethan Brand was brought into the mix. Alex and Ethan didn't really know each other but knew of each one's abilities and were very confident in what they were getting themselves into.
