Tipped for the very top by scene leader's Tiesto, Marco V & Judge Jules Canadian duo 'Shy Brothers' are following in the footsteps of Deadmau5, Tiga and as one of Canada's finest exports! Originating from Hamburg, Germany, Mike and Benjamin Shir have over a decade of experience in the studio creating their prolific "in your face" sound fusion of uplifting trance, dirty electro and raw tech has proven to be a recognizable force in the global electronica scene.
Their Vancouver-produced tracks have captivated audiences at the biggest events around the globe picking up support from Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz , Lisa lashes and Jochen Miller to name but a few! With a string of releases already under their belt on Marcel Wood's 'Musical Madness' label in 2010 including 'Recharge', 'Massive' and 'Sorrow' they have attracted a lot of attention around Europe with future releases forthcoming on High Contrast and Marcus Shosowa's Tone Diary label (part of the Spinnin collective) as well as being in high demand for remixes having remixed for Marcus Shosowa's, Jochen Miller, Lisa Lashes and Artento Divini.
These high profile releases, remixes and plays have caused a ripple effect in Europe with many key organizations supporting the shy brothers at their events including Dance Valley, Defqon One sound factory festival in Poland & USC in Seattle, USA! Back home in their native Vancouver the shy brothers are undoubtedly the biggest trance act in the west of Canada playing to thousands of passionate clubbers at their globally renound Solid events which put on stadium sized events inviting the world's finest dj's to take centre stage alongside the boys including Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, Ferry corsten, Above & Beyond and many more!
