Shuntaro Takabatake has been a motive force in the overgrond and underground music scene for more than 20 years.

Past appearing in such diverse acts as ULTRA POP, POINTER, AUTO PILOT,TAKABATAKE SHUNTARO ROCK'N ROLL BAND and NIYANIYA.



This innovative singer / song writers songs bring in to sharp focus many aspects of our lives with a surreal use of imagery giving his songs an almost, "photographic" quality.



Psychedelic guitars meld with electronic “chillout”influences in a sort of "musical still life". Something you need to see for yourself perhaps?



Shuntaro is also know as the organiser of the headLine event, no doubt his high standing amongst his pears accounts for numerous well know artists that are often seen gathering there. What? You want names. Sorry you’l have to go and find out that way!



Shuntaro says that even after so many years in music that he is still searching for something but he won’t know what it is when he

finds it.
