Greetings, and thanks for stopping by. Shockout.com is on a mission to discover and promote talented reggae artists worldwide who have a solid vision for their music. We expose each artist by featuring them on Shockout Radio, our reggae radio station on the internet which streams for free. Artists featured on Shockout Radio will be highlighted as we announce their websites, Myspace pages, up coming albums, and performances. Those who receive an exceptional amount of feedback from Shockout Radio will be featured on the Shockout Selection, our audio top 20 chart.



Shockout.com was launched in 2006. The site’s founder, Adam Arredondo, also known as Jah Mex, is a reggae musician from the United States who is passionate about discovering new reggae music from Jamaica and across the globe. Touring to various countries in Europe as a keyboard player for Eek A Mouse in 2003 opened Jah Mex’s eyes to the world of people who not only love reggae, but live reggae. Jah Mex was inspired to create a place on the internet where the reggae culture can hear new artists.



Today, D.J’s and hosts working with Shockout Radio live across the globe, and are heavily involved with promoting reggae music in their home countries. The whole Shockout Radio crew welcomes the world of reggae listeners to call Shockout.com their home on the internet.
