often they have been compared to bands like cathedral, sleep, my dying bride, crisis or black sabbath – but in the middle of this landscape of doom metal, the 4 girls of shEver found their very own style:
witch doom out of the deepest woods of Switzerland - slowly squealing, stormy, black and deeper than the ground.

their line-up is fixed since february 2004, exept on the drums (Sarah joined the band in summer 2007).
in 2004, the 3-track-demo THE MIRROR has been recorded.
after that, shEver gave concerts on numerous swiss and european stages, one of the first gigs with place of skulls (usa).
their debut album OCEAN OF ILLUSIONS, recorded at basel city studios with Dave Ponzio (DPP Production), has been released in september 2007.
numerous positive reviews followed, be it in printed or online magazines.
in june 2009, the ep A DIALOGUE WITH THE DIMENSIONS which was recorded by mario hahn (my shameful, vendetta) has been released.
through the years, shEver gathered a lot of stage experience.
in september 2007, shEver was on tour with my shameful (Fin/D) and ahab (D) through germany.
in 2008 and 2009, shEver toured a lot as well, in belgium, austria and germany, mini-tours with esoteric (UK), spancer (ger) and obelyskkh (ger), with the appearance at doom over vienna in november 2009 as the highlight of the year.



in 2010, shEver will play several festivals as the legendary doom shall rise and roadburn, as well the march of fallen II and doom over bielefeld III.
