Shauntae’
The next superstar to emerge from the legendary Minneapolis music scene, Shauntae’ is ready to take the music industry by storm.
Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Shauntae’ moved to Minneapolis in 2001 to help further her music career. Over the last several years Shauntae’ has performed at theaters, clubs and colleges across the country, as well as at virtually every live music venue in the Twin Cities, including First Avenue, The Quest, Bunker’s, The Cabooze, Trocaderos, The Fine Line, the Escape Ultra Lounge and The State Theater.
She has been on the Minneapolis scene since the age of 17 performing with some of Minneapolis’ finest musicians and vocalists including Julius Collins of Greazy Meal, Michael Bland (Prince, Maxwell), Stokley Williams (Mint Condition), Kip BlackShire (Prince), and Brian Gallagher (Prince, Mandy Moore) among others.
Shauntae’ has also been busy in the studio working with various producers on her debut CD including Will Ways of Will Ways Music Group, Prof T (Janet Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Mariah Carey), Alex Richbourg (Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, TLC), Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, Lance Alexander (Janet Jackson, NEXT, Boys II Men), Levi Seacer (Prince), Darren Rust of The Blenders and Allen “Sparky” Starks (Destiny’s Child, Eminem, Luther Vandross).
Shauntae’ just finished working on a new CD featuring Scottish pop sensation RMN to be released internationally in the Spring of 2007. She also just aired on the CW's "Search for the Next Doll" where she placed top 18 out of 10,000 contestants.
