Shake-O Blaize is from Brooklyn Bed-Stuy the do or die area. Being brought up in the concrete jungle Shake-O Blaize learned how to get his hustle on at a young age. Watching his family and friends doing what they do in the music world it was only a matter of time before Shake-O Blaize made music history. "Life wasn't funny so I didn't fuck with jokers" a line from the single "Word To Me" off of the album "The Recipe To Success" This album will be a break through album like no other. His mission is to make music history.
People ask me all the time what do I think about hip hop and the way it is now? It often takes me a few minutes to answer but it always comes down to me saying I'm tired of hearing so many grown men and women crying on records. I could understand if it was R&B but this is hip hop and that shit just ant suppose to be going on. I don't understand why so many crack dealers have to BEG for deals and then they get on T. V. with the bullshit lying on camera to the world as if everybody don't know that real criminals wont get caught dead on film. It is funny though! What's even more funny is the new cosmetics people who act as if they are so holy or so positive that they for get how to show love, if you don't know what that is buy my album I got a song about it that goes into the hole deal. Let me let you know what I mean about crying, these so called thugs that the media put in front of the world are fake how you ganna say you a killa on records but you can't even get your royalty check from your label and then you do interviews and say something like you not getting support for you record when in fact you should be supporting your own record.
I know I came a long way and that I got a long way to go but I chose this life and that's why I love it so much. People also like to ask me why don't I take my music up to some of these labels? I tell them I have my own label and I make music for us why should I go to someone who don't even know my pain and let them tell my story to the world the way that the want to. I just cant have that. I've been doing my own thing and I want to keep it that way besides it is enough evidence showing that these so called major labels don't know what the hell they are doing.
