Italian Bio:
Vexillum nascono a Pisa nel settembre del 2004 da un idea di Michele Gasparri "Firespit" (Chitarra e Voce) e Luca Torelli "Akira" (Chitarra)con il nome Shadow Vexillum. Si uniscono poco dopo alla band Alessandro Cariboni "AC" alla Batteria e Luca Masi "Liuck" al Basso. Dopo le prime serate propongono alla compagna del chitarrista Luca ,Rita, di entrare nella band come cantante. Con questa formazione gli Shadow Vexillum registrano il loro primo Demo cd composto da 7 tracce dal titolo "Tales", nell'inverno 2005. Proprio durante la registrazione un nuovo cantante, Dario Vallesi, subentra a Michele che sente la necessita di dedicarsi solamente alla chitarra. Nell estate del 2006 Akira e Rita lasciano la band per motivi personali. Tuttavia gli Shadow Vexillum continuano a suonare live con una formazione "ristretta", supportati talvolta dalle tastiere di Alessio Lucatti (Vision Divine). Nel Gennaio 2007 Dario, Firespit, Liuck e AC entrano negli Head Studio di Prato per registrare "Neverending Quest", EP Autoprodotto che vanta parecipazioni "illustri"nell'ambito metal italiano: tutte le parti di Tastiere sono registrate da Alessio Lucatti (Vision Divine), la battaglia dei soli in "Rising from the Ruins" � tra Firespit e Federico Puleri (Vision
Divine). Metre tutta la parte grafica del cd viene curata da Riccardo Iacono (Domine). Durante le registrazioni di Neverending Quest viene presa la
decisione di mutare il nome in Vexillum. Nel febbraio 2007 i Vexillum decidono di inserire nella formazione le tastiere in modo stabile,a ricoprire questo ruolo troviamo "Sink". Purtroppo per motivi personali nel giugno 2007 Ac e Liuck decidono di laciare la band, quindi dopo una difficoltosa ricerca vengono sotituiti da Federico "Fede" alla batteria e Francesco Ferraro "Skywise" al basso. Nello stesso periodo Dario e Firespit propongono al chitarrista Andrea Calvanico di entrare nella band. Dopo un anno di strada percorsa insieme, Federico decide di lasciare la band nel novembre 2008 per portare avanti altri progetti personali. Poco dopo, tramite Alex Lucatti, il gruppo conosce Francesco Girardi, gi� batterista degli End of Grace. Ed � subito sintonia. Il gruppo riprende il lavoro in sala prove per inserire nel suo organico il nuovo componente e per riprendere il cammino da dove si erano fermati.

The Vexillum born in Pisa in September 2004, from an idea of Michele “Firespit” Gasparri (Voice and Guitar) and Luca “Akira” Torelli (Guitar) with the name of Shadow Vexillum. Just after, Alessandro “AC” Cariboni at the Drums and Luca “Liuck” Masi at the Bass Guitar join the band. After some concerts they offer to Luca's girlfriend, Rita, to be the female Voice of the band with Michele as the male Voice. With this line up the Shadow Vexillum record their first Demo CD, “Tales” made of 7 tracks, during 2005 winter season. While recording, a new singer, Dario Vallesi, join the band to replace Michele, that preferred to focus only on his Guitar. In the summer of 2006, Akira and Rita decide to leave the band for personal reasons. Nevertheless, the Shadow Vexillum are still playing live, supported sometimes by the Keyboards of Alex Lucatti (Vision Divine). In January 2007 Dario, Firespit, Liuck and AC enter the Head Studio of Prato to record “Neverending Quest”, self-produced EP that features distinguished guest stars from the italian metal scene: for the whole album they have Alex Lucatti's Keyboards (Vision Divine); “Rising from the Ruins” solo battle is between Firespit and Federico Puleri (Vision Divine) and the artbook of the CD is devolved upon Riccardo Iacono (ex Domine). While recording, they take the decision to change the name of the band in Vexillum. In February 2007 the band decide to take the Keyboarder Michele “Sink” Sonnino as member of the band. For personal reasons, in June 2007 AC and Liuck decide to leave the band. After a hard research they are replaced with Federico at the Drums and Francesco Saverio “Skywise” Ferraro at the Bass Guitar. At the same time Dario and Firespit offer to the Guitarist Andrea Calvanico to join the band. After a year spent together, in November 2008 Federico leaves the band for personal projects. After a while, with the help of Alex Lucatti, the Vexillum meet Francesco Girardi, Drummer for the End of Grace. And it's immediatly feeling. The band come back at work to place the new member in the band and to continue the travel from where they stopped it.
