Many unsigned artists find themselves trapped in a box in their hometown scene, unable to be heard. Not Se’von.
As a professional recording artist for the past six years, Se’von has kept his name on the tip of fans’ tongues with tracks like “Maria” and “Everyday”.
Originally from Detroit, he has been nominated as Best Male Solo Artist for three consecutive years (2005-2008) at the Detroit Music Awards. Se’von has seen his fair share of the stage.
Se’von has opened for Hova himself as well as Kanye in Toronto and co-headlined alongside Rick Ross and Rich Boy in Atlanta. He has also opened for numerous other artists while in Detroit from Little Brother and Talib Kweli to Lyfe Jennings and Goapele.
Now living in Atlanta, Se’von has wowed the south with his sound at several showcases. At a recent showcase, at a venue he had never stepped foot in before, Se’von clutched the audiences attention and won the Already Famous showcase receiving a monetary prize.
Se’von has spread his wings as a song writer as well, assisting Case, Chingy, Lyfe Jennings and more with his pen. Se’von also connected with fans nationwide this year on the BET hit comedy dating show, “Helldate”, leaving people searching for his myspace page for a listen to the music he alluded to on the show.
