Set The Tone

SET THE TONE was created in 1998 @ Liège - Belgium. Each STT member has its own influences and the result can be described as a mix of Metal, Doom, Hardcore and Stoner Rock. STT has played tons of shows (clubs & festivals) and has shared the stage with bands such as NAPALM DEATH, CROWBAR, HIGH ON FIRE, GOJIRA, SICK OF IT ALL, ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, THE HAUNTED and many others. During those years, STT played at venues and festivals like : Dour Festival, Biebob, Le Botanique, Muziek-O-Droom, Kulturfabrik, Durbuy Rock Festival, Spirit Of 66, Buzzfest, Les Nuits de l'Entrepôt, . SET THE TONE has released a few demo cds, a split cd (w/ Es La Guerilla) on "Several Bleeds Records" in 2005, an EP in 2007 and their debut full length album "FULL TILT BOOGIE" ( We Are All Liars Records / Bang! Distribution) in 2008. "PALLAS ATHENA" the band's new ep is now available - september 2010 - via RUINED LIVES RECORDS !! A new full length album is in the pipeline and should be released in 2011.
