DESCRIPTION:
It's hard to believe, but I give this song, video, and the story behind it much of the credit for kick-starting my music work lol I started writing lyrics back in 2008 and, about the same time, our septic system had to be replaced. We didn't have the money to hire somebody to do the work and we didn't have the money to rent a back-hoe to dig the deep septic pit and trenches...so I had to do all of the work myself. It was the heat of summer and back breaking work and ended up taking about 5 weeks...but we got it done lol I had made friends with Tennessee singer/producer/songwriter Glenn Spayth and, when he heard what we were having to do, he felt for us and sat down in his studio and recorded a short track about it. Well, we had a A LOT of fun singing and humming along with the track as we continued to dig the deep pits and trenches, one thing lead to another, somebody picked up a video camera, and we ended up with our first "music video" lol Glenn really liked it a lot, too...we ended up beconing even better friends, and he started producing some of my lyrics into songs. From there other people hopped on board and started working with me and I was on my way. In the years since I've been produced in several countries, by many people, and my writings been to some interesting places indeed...and looking back I owe much of it all to a big ditch needing to be dug and Glenn Spayth. Thanks for everything, Glenn - we all love you to death up here on the mountain :-)
