oo 03/08/09 - SECOND IN LINE ARE BACK!!! - We are pleased to announce that Second In Line have reunited are will be playing a few shows during the rest of 2009. After approximately 15 months since they split, Second In Line are “doing a Madness” and are back. I mean come on, loads of rubbish bands have reformed recently like Blink 182, so why the hell shouldn’t Second In Line come back? The comeback will feature a slightly new line up. Dan, Gareth and Mr. T are all back but unfortunately Gudz isn’t able to make the reunited line up. Basically he’s moved a few times since and it would just be a logistical nightmare for him. We’re really gutted that Gudz is unable to come back in the fold, but we are also pleased to announce that Spoonie from Basingstoke punk rockers, Kicked In (and formerly of Signs Of Insanity) has joined to take up the bass duties. Spoonie has also been seen on bass in Mr. T’s other project, Just Add Monsters in the last few months. This site will undergo an update in the coming weeks and will include details of upcoming shows, but for now please keep a check on the Official Second In Line Myspace page here: www.myspace.com/secondinline - where the shows will be announced. The band are planning on writing and recording some new tunes in the near future but for now are promising to play the “classics” for the first few shows like “Brewster’s Millions”, “Joanie Loves Chachi” and of course the infamous “Bup Bup Song” – so get crouching and be ready to dance!

Just Add Monsters are still going strong (also with a new line up) and will be heading into the studio very soon to record the follow up to their incredible debut EP “Today We Call, Tomorrow We Strike!”. Mr. T has told us that the songs on the new EP will be even more socially aware and will cover various issues such as prejudice, patriotism, asking people to make a positive impact on the world and even a song dedicated to Apollo Creed from the Rocky movies. So do keep an eye on their Myspace page for gig dates and also news on the new EP. Check it out here: www.myspace.com/secondinline
