For Sebastian Koch it all started in 1996, where he begann to spin Hip Hop records. In 1998 he visited the Tresor club for the first time and was so fascinated by the atmosphere, that his style changed completely. One year later he was playing for the first time at the legendary „HEADQUARTER-NEW FACES“ Nights at the Tresor club. In the year 2005 Sebastian adopted the Berlin studio of the Internet Radio "SPIEL-TRIEB" (www.spiel-trieb.org), which has its headquarter in Munich and works together with the well known club "HARRY-KLEIN".

In 2007, together with 2 colleagues (0x7f & Subjunk), he founded the Label "31337-RECORDS". The Label is releasing international Artists such as "DEN", "SOMEONE-ELSE", "KAI" to name a few. On this Label he also released his first EP "FRIENDSHIP" along with "DEN". His style is straight minimal, sometimes dark, but always groovy Techno. True to the motto "less is more" or "the art lies in the detail"!

quote: "Sebastion Koch is one of the Berlin Dj's who's putting lots of thoughts into their sets. His style is affected by lots of

minimalistic details, wich he skillfully puts together. Thus hes taking a path where he gives the interested listener the possibility

to let himself fall into the Music to understand its core, the minimal maximalism."

about 31337records:

is a Berlin and Munich based label run by Stefan Klaas, Philip Steger and Sebastian Guth. The name 31337 otherwise written as ‚eleet‘ (elite) has its origin in the alternative internet alphabet called leetspeak. The label was founded in early 2007 as a platform for international artists to release quality music over the internet and occasionally vinyl.

They always try to support new and upcoming artists, as well as established producers. Their focus lies mainly on minimal techno, dub and experimental electronic music. The label is striving for a fresh, innovative and timeless sound. the result is a perfect mix between floor filling, subtle minimal techno, and deep, slow experimental tracks.

Besides that, the label is working in cooperation with rts.fm, a Russian internet radio. In the Berlin studio, they host many well known producers and DJs to stream live audio and video. In the future they would like to plan their own events and keep feeding you with quality music.

[leet-001] Someone Else - Zebra Talk EP

We finally did it: We proudly present to you our very first vinyl by none other than Mr. Sean O‘Neil aka Someone Else, the mastermind behind Foundsound records! Known for his awesome releases on various labels and for filling dancefloors all over the world, he delivers a cool club track called ‚Zebra Talk‘. Driven by a heavy, minimal beat, this track offers freaky vocal lines, spooky breaks and enough tension to keep the crowd moving. We also provide you with some great remixes: The first one by Miskate is a more deconstructed approach to the original track, featuring loads of percussion and neatly arranged breaks, surrounded by massive reverb. The second remix is by the Argentinian producer Omar Salgado. A groovy new bassline and full of deep variation, this moves the track into a different direction. Last but not least our Japanese friend Den comes up with a perfect DJ tool, only available on the digital release.
