Scratchylus and Empress Reggae

Scratchylus & his daughter Empress Reggae promote conscious messages in their music and have appeared on many world stages including World stage Notting Hill Carnival UK, Banjul National Stadium Gambia,Bob Marley concert Trenchtown Jamaica and are being currently featured on MTV AND CMT NETWORKS.

They have been in Jamaica where they have honed their music skills among the elders working with the Royal Inna De Yard family Earl Chinna Smith, Kiddus I, Sticky,Alphonso, Kush McAnuff and legendary musicians Horsemouth, Bo-Pee, Bubbler, Rice (Uprising band) and Pam Hall.

In recent years, Scratchylus has caught international attention with his unique singjay style that's a culmination of Eek A Mouse/Pinchers/Papa San and Dennis Brown; but it's totally original all the while. 13 years wise Empress Reggae performs a reggae meets dub poetry parlando reminiscent of Mutabaruka.
