In conjunction with The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, The USC Thornton School of Music hosted a song writing contest for popular music students celebrating creativity and inspiration. The winning entry, "Learn from You" by Catherine Smith '14, is performed by the all-USC Thornton band, Ghost in the Canyon.
