In November 2000 the magazine "Visions" decides to take the song "Fit in" on their much sought after "All Areas" Sampler. The music company "WOM" is so convinced by this that they nominate SCOREFOR for "WOM New Talents Act 2000". Finaly the band makes a great third place. Only one month after that the magazin "Rock Hard" places the track "I will" on their "Unerhört" CD. The result: Nearly 400 enthusiastic Rock Hard-readers order the CD. In Spring 2001 SCOREFOR signes a management-contract with the company "Modern Noise". 2001 the single "I dont know why" and the album "Leaving the birdcage" come out by Wolverine Records/SPV. In December 2001 they shoot their first video-clip fort he catchy song "Heavyweight Champion". The single is released in March 2002. After that the band does more than 100 shows in Germany and in other European countries on the "Leaving the birdcage" touring. In Spring 2003 they record, with Guido Lucas & Thilo Schenk, their new CD "Just another version of truth" at the Blubox Studio. The album has been released in June 2003 all over Europe on Wolverine Records/Soulfood. In August 2003 they sign a contract with the japanese label "Imperial Records/JVC". In September 2003 the four guys shoot a video to their song "Where are the flowers daddy used to bring". It was directed by Pascal Heiduk who made video-clips for bands like "Donots" or "Gentleman" too. End 2003 their album has been released in Japan. After this SCOREFOR toured Japan for two weeks. Besides their video rotates at every relevant broadcast (MTV, Nippon TV). In Spring 2004 SCOREFOR sign a contract with the australian (also New Zealand) label "Blow up records". To continue the story, SCOREFOR toured four weeks through USA, Canada and Australia and are now able to look back onto unforgettable shows like in Toronto (Canadian Music Week) or in the legendary "CBGB"-Club in New York. On 15th of August "Just another version of truth" will be released through "Mecapo Records" in Sweden. To support the release in Scandinavia, SCOREFOR will come over to Sweden to play some shows and promote their album in front of the nordic audience.
