In a world where steel and metal pervade our sight, childhood dreams are lost and rigorous day jobs cause us to lose our priceless imagination - photographer, singer, and actress Scarlett Pomers strives to create a world where myth becomes reality. The visions she creates with her photos and music is often a glimpse into the world within her mind where such dreams come true - a place Scarlett refers to as "my wunderland". Inside this fantasy land lies two realms - that of dreams, and that of nightmares. " With my photos and my music, I wish to explore both light as well as darkness. Everyone has a dark side to them; it's part of being human. And, if one were to look closely at the faery tales of old, they were rather macabrebut with a happy ending. Most of the time."

After years of working in film and television, including 3 seasons on Star Trek: Voyager and six seasons on the hit sitcom REBA, McEntire’s former TV daughter has grown into a stunning young lady that has become a Rock powerhouse, as well as an imaginative photographer.

With many of her co-written songs in demand for film & television placements, including MTV’s Laguna Beach, & this spring’s feature film release, Love N’ Dancing, Pomers spent years paying dues in many of Hollywood’s hottest venues including, “The House of Blues”, “The World-Famous Whiskey A Go-Go”, The Key Club & “The Roxy”. From the time she formed her first band at age 15, & debuted to a packed house at “The Knitting Factory” on Hollywood Blvd., Pomers was one of the youngest artists ever offered a residency at these legendary venues.

Her soulful rock captures the essence of a young woman emerging from the tempestuous teen years to realize the struggles of her youth & embody a depth & understanding of the human experience with bitter sweetness.

Along with writing & recording, Scarlett is a formally trained belly-dancer. She’s studied Egyptian, East-Indian, & tribal style for over 8 years. Her other passion includes Yoga. She began yoga classes at age 9. In 2007, after completing intensive studies in seclusion in New Mexico, Scarlett was certified as a level one Kundalini Yoga instructor.

She credits yoga with helping her beat a severe bout with anorexia during her 16th year which saw her hospitalized for two months. After her release from in-patient treatment, her recovery was strengthened by creating an organization under the National Eating Disorders Association called Arch-Angels. She is proud to raise funds to help raise awareness of the prevalence of deadly eating disorders.

She also studies Shinkendo(Japanese sword fighting), Archery & just received her motorcycle license.

"In a lot of ways, I see myself as a modern day adventurer and story-teller. Whether my audience is listening to a song I've written, or looking at a photo I've created, I want them to be told a story. I want them to be able to hear or see a piece of themselves, no matter how small, in the songs or images."

Her message as an artist is to embrace the darkness, in order to overcome it, and live in the light.

"Most of all I just want people to know they are not alone in their emotions and experiences."

Scarlett is in currently in the studio recording a new album, more information to come!
