The S.B.G consists of five members, however the stage names are BRAVE, Masiah and Redboy. The S.B.G solid rap delivery is due to continuous freestyling that we did for the love of it together with our homies Cose and Blinkaz. It was always competitive, it was for respect, it was for bragging rights. A couple years ago, a decision was taken by BRAVE and Masiah to begin the recording of music. At the beginning, it was a small gig, but the buzz started catching on. S.B.G was then invited to perform at various functions. With a local buzz and a fresh burst of confidence the S.B.G continued recording music. Locally, it was highly anticipated among our peers in various communities, a full disc mixtape was dropped in October of 2006.



This mixtape pushed the S.B.G to national recognition among the top Dj’s on the island.

Many tracks on the mixtape got radio play, then came the performances at local night clubs, which were done free of charge, for with the new popularity, the S.B.G was still true to the art, regardless of the negative comments that we received from the haterz.

We still stood our ground; this drives the S.B.G to be stronger.



In addition, the S.B.G made contact with producers that work with nationally recognized bands. Record deals were offered to the S.B.G, but were declined because no one could give a favourable plan that would help the S.B.G reach the American Market. Soon after we officially registered as S.B.G due to the strong buzz and the catchy flow of the three abbreviated letters.



So after that, it’s back on the grind cause S.B.G ain’t gonna back down. Taking a different business approach, we intend to reach the U.S Market. The S.B.G is not supported by any company financially or any other method. Everything is done solely from the grind and hustle of the S.B.G, spearheaded by BRAVE and Masiah.



Now with a new mixtape out, which is being posted out to record label A&R’s, someone is bound to listen. S.B.G is straight fyah and we bringing that heat from the Caribbean.
