The project before Sator Absentia was called "Talisin's Bards Order". It was oriented Ritual Music and recorded with Sophie Ducreux and Niiko (Asmorod). Our friend Marco from Slaughter Prods released a tape in 1998. It is the recording of a Live performed in this horrible french village called" Lyon"

The first CD of Asmorod "Involution Toward Cthonian Dephts" (SOL Records, (in which SA appeared) and the first Sator Absentia Album "Mercurian Orgasms" (Dark Vinyl) used typical Death and Dark ambient patterns. They perhaps missed maturity but still spare strange feelings. laï laï Cthulu Fthagn !!

Sator Absentia architecture evolved with the second album "Fluid Artefacts". In fact I did'nt want to turn in an exclusive ambiant direction (some do it very well already !) nor in an indus project. The point is to open the infinite of possibilities and to surprise the listener while exploring a path of tribe'n'industrial chill out. "The True Meaning of Golgotha" and "Exis Time" went this way .

Sator Absentia is proud to announce the end of the production of it's first movie called "Ypsilon". This experimental document will be available on DVD for the end of the year.
