Sardonic

SARDONIC was founded in August 2003! In September 2004 the Debut–CD was recorded and the release of the CD was celebrated in October 2004, suitable as the support act of Obituary!

The tasty cocktail made of Death– and Thrash Metal garnished with a lot of groove and melody, was absorbed euphoric by the national press.

After more performances in Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia and Germany, SARDONIC has an outstanding reputation as a brilliant liveband, so that the work on the second longplayer could begin.

In November 2005 Sardonic recorded again at “Metalsound Studio” the second official release.

The results are 10 brandnew Songs, based again on Death– and Thrash Metal. This newborn bastard is also linked up wih melody, groove and more progressive elements.

Now the band signed record label with Musicaz Records from Germany. In September/October 2006 Sardonic rocked european stages as supportact of Vader / God Dethroned & Severe Torture! Now in 2007 Sardonic did besides several festival appearances like Mainstage on Metalcamp, Queens of Metal, etc. another european tour as support of Malevolent Creation, Rotting Christ & Rotten Sound!



At the moment the band is working on new songs which will be released as an EP in autumn 2009! The new longplayer is scheduled for somewhen 2010. A new tour and festivals are in the planings.

Besides this we are in negotiations with few labels in order to get the necessary support for our new record! Interested record companies and booking agencys - get in contact!

In June 2008 our Bassplayer Michael had to leave the band in case of personal reasons. Meanwhile Niels of Germany's PREDATOR will support us on forthcoming gigs.
