I love how i am taken to another place when i sing a brand new song. I wish i were writing a new song everyday but either way, I'm still picking up inspiration everywhere i go, from everyone i meet so be careful, I'm watching.and i'm listening



I come from a place of not being around musicians, not even one really When i was 21 i bought a guitar and opened up my life to so many amazing people. I have developed so many wonderful relationships through music. Of all the things that some people hope to aquire through music, what i have earned is priceless. Knowing that when i have a few friends over and the likelyness that we will be playing music before the night is over, as far as i'm concerned makes me the richest woman in the world. having a good friend call me up in the afternoon telling me that listening to one of my songs helped her get through something she had been dealing with sets a glow all within and around me. Seeing someone i have never met turn around in their chair at one of my shows to get a better listen is all the fame i require.



deep down i am still a simple little girl from iowa that just wants run around and catch lightning bugs and watch them glow. is there anything wrong with that?? the only reason to be alive is to enjoy it so why not check out those shiny pretty lights every now and then what's the rush anyway?
