Sarah Schuster

Il primo disco dei Sarah Schuster è stato registrato in presa diretta e mixato al Red House Recordings da David Lenci, mentre Bob Weston ha curato il mastering presso il Chicago Mastering Service.

Due brani vantano la collaborazione della meravigliosa Amy Denio, ospite d'onore con sax contralto e fisarmonica rispettivamente in “Music beyond me” e “Tarà tarà”.

The band Sarah Schuster was formed by the end of 2005 in Vicenza, Italy. A great feeling between the members led to raw sounds and minimalistic arrangements, based on two guitars (Eleonora e Daniela), drums (Matteo) and vocals (Lisa).



In 2006 the band started an intense live activity: they developed a very personal style and presence on stage, capturing the growing interest of music press and of a large and loyal fans group that followed them. Sarah Schuster played, sometimes in acoustic settings, at many festivals and clubs, and as the opening act to main Italian independent bands like Red Worms’ Farm, Juan Mordecai and Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti.



They released their first official demo “(Thus spoke) Sarah Schuster” in March 2007. This promo contains four original songs and is a good example of the energy and the feeling that people love in Sarah Schuster’s live acts. The demo received many positive reviews.

On July 2008 the band played as one of the upcoming bands for the most important italian music festival “Italia Wave Love Festival” .



In October 2008 Sarah Schuster recorded their first album at the Red House Recordings, with the renowned recording engineer David Lenci, who worked with bands such as Blonde Redhead, June of 44, Shellac, Uzeda and many others.

Le strade dei quattro Sarah Schuster si incrociano a Schio, in provincia di Vicenza, nell'autunno del 2005. All'interno del gruppo nasce da subito un naturale accordo su arrangiamenti minimali, costruiti su due chitarre (Eleonora e Daniela), batteria (Matteo) e linee vocali (Lisa), alla ricerca di suoni irrequieti e grezzi.



Nel corso del 2006 e del 2007 l’attività live dei Sarah Schuster è molto intensa: il gruppo matura uno stile ed una presenza on stage capaci di appassionare un seguito di pubblico fedele e attento. Suona anche in versione acustica, in molte rassegne, festival e locali del Veneto e non, aprendo i concerti di band come Red Worms’ Farm, Tre allegri ragazzi morti, Juan Mordecai, etc.



Nel marzo 2007 esce il promo dal titolo "(Thus Spoke) Sarah Schuster" registrato in presa diretta al “Groova Recording Lab” di Breganze (Vi) da Matteobass. Il CD contiene 4 brani originali e, a giudicare dall’ottimo riscontro, risulta rappresentativo di quello che il pubblico apprezza nei numerosi concerti. Lusinghiera anche l’accoglienza da parte della stampa specializzata e locale, che seguono le attività dei Sarah Schuster con recensioni, interviste, segnalazioni.



Tra gli altri appuntamenti dell’estate 2008 i Sarah Schuster suonano sullo storico Psycho Stage dell’Italia Wave Love Festival come unica band rappresentante della regione Veneto.



L’autunno 2008 vede il gruppo impegnato in studio presso il Red House Recordings di Senigallia (AN), con David Lenci alla console.



Il 9 Giugno 2009 i Sarah Schuster presentano il loro primo album "RAIN FROM MARS".
