Santos "Tos money" was born June 8, 1987 in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in the Brownsville projects, life for Santos as a young child was rough at times and watching his mother work hard and struggle was something that this young entrepreneur says, always keeps him motivated to do more. Santos interest in the music business started at a young age; seven years ago he was in a rap group with his younger brother and close friend, Lil J.R and Black Poun. Together the three started out doing poetry about growing up in Brooklyn and being raised in the projects. After sometime, they began putting music behind their words and formed the rap group, Fly Boyz.

After recording a few songs and performing in local talent shows and showcasings, the Fly Boyz soon learned that they lacked the right connections; under the stress of not being able to get a record deal the group parted ways. This however, did not discouraged efforts in hopes of getting in the entertainment industry. After meeting a Def Jam street promoter at the African-American Day Parade in Harlem, Santos along with his former group member and friend Black Poun, finally got the break they have been waiting for. Together they were brought on as street team promoters for Def Jam Records. For two 16 year olds, this was a dream come true. For five years Santos and Black Poun promoted parties, concerts, shows, and artist for Def Jam and did this for free. “I didn’t care about not being paid.” Santos explains. “It was all about the connections I was meeting;. Nobody can take away the experience.”

After promoting for Def Jam Records for 5 years without pay Santos was given a pay check. Santos next big break was in the end of 2004, while still working at Def Jam he met Tishawn Gayle. Respecting Santos’s hard work and loyalty to the label, he asked Santos if he wanted to be a part of his new project. This new project was "Ne-Yo" and Compound Entertainment. As Ne-Yo’s career blew up to super stardom, so did Santos’s position within Compound Ent. Over a course of five years Santos went from street team promotions to being a part of the tour management team, supervising and participate in all aspects of touring.

Being inspired and always striving to become better and do more, Santos started his own record label, Sutter Music Group and also began working with a local artist Dash Dollas. As far as future projects, Santos is working on producing a TV show based on the behind the scenes up and downs of the entertainment industry called, “The Fabulous Life.” As if he wasn’t busy enough, Santos is looking to open as more doors for himself and others as possible. “I look up to people like Russell Simmons, Diddy, and Jay-Z. I want to get my hands in everything. I am looking to start a fashion line open restaurants, whatever. All you have todo is put your mind into it.”
