Sandra Wainwright

Sandra Laratta, Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, is no stranger to country music. Starting out in the entertainment business at a young age, Sandra began acting in theater, film and television appearing in various musicals and national television shows. These pursuits lead her to Vancouver, British Columbia where she could finally cultivate her true passion: music. Making her mark on the Vancouver music scene. She proved to be a powerful force in the world of rock music playing and writing with some of the top musicians in the city, performing across B.C. Although some interest from labels and management companies had come her way; Sandra's vocal and writing ability had started to open new doors in the Country genre. Evolving as an artist she then made a more "suited" move to country. With the enormous support and help from the BCCMA, Sandra had a jump start into her career as a New Country Artist. Teaming up with some of the best writers (Rick Tippe, Gord Bamford, Byron Hill, Jesse Wainwright) Sandra is currently finishing her debut CD with CCMA award winning producer, Bart Mckay.
Laratta, a 2008 BCCMA Horizon Award nominee and a 2010 Socan Songwriter of the Year nominee, is known for her strong, powerful country vocals. Her energy and presence on and off the stage is sure to captivate you and leave you refreshed. You will soon know why Sandra is one of Canadian Country Music's rising artists.
