Biography



Zac Tobias (real name Sakari Heikkilä) is a Finnish singer-/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. He grew up in a little town called Jakobstad, playing classical piano. When computers came in the house, he quickly found about music trackers, and that was the begininnig of producing electronic music.



In his teenager years full of grunge and punk, he started writing pop songs and to play guitar, which also led him to more vocalism. His interest in music grew, so he continued to Kaustinen High School of Music where different new genres were introduced to him. In this time he also learnt about his family roots in folk music.



After that he has graduated as musician from Jyväskylä Conservatory of Music with vocals in 2008. Now he's studying music production in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.



And the story goes on, all these musical sectors keep on developing as he works on projects after another. In this kind of musical playground he never gets bored!
