Kosovan Sabb and Spaniard Cuartero are a pair of producers who have not only their own respected discographies, but who have also been turning heads with their collaborative works on labels like Noir Music. The result of that partnership spawned tracks like "Don't You Know" which Moon Harbour boss Matthias Tanzmann has not been afraid of playing plenty of times this year, and as such he welcomes the pair to his label for their first release, Don't Kill My Vibe, complete with remixes from Chris Wood and Meat.

The title track is a churning, spacious tech house groove peppered with perfectly placed hi hats. Building infectiously towards a peak of nimble melodies and filtered vocals, it's a perfectly balanced, feathery track that will sweep up and lock in place dancefloors like DC 10 without any worries at all.

The first remix from Frankfurt tech house innovator Chris Wood and his local Souvenir associate Meat is a much more full blooded and energetic affair. The loops are fleshed out with bubbling basslines and shooting diva cries as well as plenty of sci-fi synth details in the background, fun yet functional it's designed for maximum dancing pleasure.

The same pair provide a second remix of the same track, this one goes much deeper, staying locked in a rubber but funky kick drum pattern whilst layering up chord stabs, spitting drum hits and the original's dark male vocal into a catchy patchwork of sound that constantly ducks and dive and will make you do the same.

It's back to Sabb & Cuartero then for the other original, "Front or Back". There's plenty of fine grain texture to the track which has buffed metal surfaces and a keen machine funk on display throughout. The silvery hi hats dangle invitingly above a punchy kick drum that hits left and right like a champion boxer. Loopy but lose, anthemic without being obvious, it's a restrained tech house workout that causes maximum damage, especially when the horns go off in the latter half.

Sabb & Cuartero then are a welcome addition to the Moon Harbour stable with a unique take on tech that will surely see them grow in stature ever more in the second half of 2013.
