S4 Entertainment (Andrew James)

S4 Entertainment Inc. is a North American artist development and Management Company. Home to such artists as: Promise and R&B/Gospel singers Roshana and Liya.
Established in 2000 under the direction of Andrew James, S4 Entertainment Inc. specializes in the development and management of musical artists in the Greater Toronto Area.
Sharing the heart and vision of greats like Berry Gordy, Andrew saw the need to restore the lost art of artist development through mentorship and relationship. The goal was then, and is still to produce artists and music that is relevant, meaningful and life-changing.
Andrew started in the entertainment industry as most people do - as a fan. After winning the Dramatic Arts Award for his High School graduating class, Andrew went off to New York City to purse an acting career and attended the New York School for Film and Television. His acting career took a back seat to his passionate involvement with New York City record stores, promoters and music producers.
He later returned to Toronto where he went on to star in a local kids video game show, co-host of a late night radio show on York U’s CHRY-105.5FM, co-host a Positive Urban Music show on Joy 1250AM and host a live local variety/Talent show. 2006 saw Andrew participate as a member of the screening committee for the Christian Music Category of the Juno Awards. In 2008 he became a member of the Board of Directors of the Gospel Music Association of Canada.
Through S4, he has contributed to the success of Admarie Records’ UMAC Award winning Pat Francis & High Praise, Rising Hip-Hop star, Promise, female R&B artist Roshana and the always exciting annual Drum Competition, “Drumoff”.
The last few years have seen the portfolio of S4 Entertainment expand into the areas of Magazine Publication, Graphic Design, Community Outreach, Event Management and broader aspects of the entertainment industry.
