DESCRIPTION:
Testing 2 tactile transducers (bass shakers) on a metal stool, experimenting with various objects; in preparation for a sound installation for a theatre production with sound design involving 12 bass shakers attached to metallic structures - audience bleachers.

The first few objects were tested with sub-frequency drones designed from train tracks and machineries (20Hz - 115Hz); and the last test uses rhythmic low frequency pulses. Tested with tone generators and it seems to resonate best at 88Hz-90Hz. For the purpose of this experiment, the Bass Shakers are wired in series.
