DESCRIPTION:
Sound Installation for the theatre production CITIZEN PIG by The Finger Players.

This demonstration features 12 x Bass Tactile Transducers (powered by a Buttkicker amplifier) installed strategically on the metallic frame structure underneath the audience bleachers and on the hand rails, together with selected objects for more tactile sounds, in order to shake and rattle the audience seats physically. All sounds heard are not play-backs but the physical rattles of the metal structure and the selected objects interacting with the frames. The only play-back employed was the sub-frequencies drone and pulsing designed from train tracks sounds and machinery sounds, causing the bass shakers to vibrate the metal frames and the selected objects physically.
