Rump Recordings

After releasing the "Browen" album from Bjørn Svin earlier this year, we are now ready with our second release of 2010!
With a membership consisting of Thomas Knak (aka Opiate), Anders Remmer (aka Dub Tractor) and Jesper Skaaning (aka Acustic), System's collective presence in Scandinavian electronica is all but impossible to ignore.
Formed in 1994 under the name Future 3 the group found instant recognition, not only in Denmark but also among international DJs such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, who listed Future 3's debut album among their top five albums of all time!
There will be a 2-page interview in the new De:Bug, + it will be album of the month on Radio Eins "Elektrobeat" in October.

Rump History
Rump Recordings was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2003 with an aim to release uncompromising electronic and experimental music.
However we do not attempt to focus solely on one genre but are more interested in the uncategorizable fields that emerge when artists start to experiment and push the existing boundaries of music.
So, in fact we do welcome all kinds of music but prefer music where the sound is just as important as the composition.
Through the years we have had a tight relationship with different groups of graphic designers, who create artwork for our covers, flyers, website, posters & stickers + we are working with different VJs for our shows.
Rump Events
Apart from releasing music we help programming events such as ChurChill, and our annual easter event at Culture Box (Copenhagen).
