Pieced together by a group of veteran musicians, a new sound arose from the flatlands of Bradenton, Florida. In August 2004, four friends, driven by both a fervent love of music and the desire to create something new, came together to form Rumors Of War. In a scene where many bands are concerned with fashion and exaggerated stage moves, Rumors focuses on substance and passion. Their sound encompasses catchy riffs, melodic rhythms, a driving backbeat and stirring vocals, creating a sound that consistently moves audiences to their feet. With varying influences such as Quicksand, Hot Water Music, Texas Is The Reason and Thursday, the bands live performance exudes raw emotion and concentrated dedication. Before taking the stage at each show, an unspoken question is in each members eyes: How can we make this one better than the last?

Rumors Of War plays regularly at venues such as Rockerfellas, The Distillery, & The Clubhouse. And other Tampa Bay area venues such as The Masquerade, The State Theatre, Gasoline Alley, The Bank and City Lights. As their fan base continues to grow with each performance, the band is constantly in search of more venues to play and new bands to perform with. Rumors has had the privilege of sharing the stage with countless popular local acts, including: The Chase Theory, New Crash Position, Signal 76 and Soulfound; as well as nationally signed acts such as Forever Changed, Kaddisfly, The Academy Is. and others.

Rumors Of War spent March and April of 2005 recording at Polysound in Brandon, Florida, only to emerge with their brilliant debut EP This Hasnt Failed Us Yet . . . And in just the last few months, this rising rock act has been asked to appear on five diverse compilation albums, as well as being featured in two major local publications along with a 3 1/2 out of 4 stars review in The Weekly Planet.

No matter what raving reviews this band may receive, the ultimate display of their talent is in their magnetic live performance. Never before has there been a mix of such obvious talent, true genius in execution, and a stage presence that captivates any audience. Rumors Of War is a band that will be heard . . . . a major plus to music fans everywhere.
